Cooperative Steering

Allows temporary steering takeover by the driver during autonomous driving, with seamless transition back to autonomous mode by releasing the steering wheel.

For example, this could allow a driver to takeover, move around a pothole in-lane, or give a little extra room to a cyclist on the shoulder of the road, and then return with instant re-activation of autonomous lane-keeping or overlay functions.
